OVERVIEW

PlayBoard Hoops is a basketball playboard and saved-play tool. The app can be used locally without signing in. If you sign in, use Premium, cloud backup, Play Book, or advertising-supported Free features, the app and its service providers process the data needed to provide those features.

DATA WE COLLECT

- Email address for account sign-in and account support.
- User identifiers such as the PlayBoard account ID and backend account ID.
- Saved-play content such as play titles and board payloads when cloud backup is used.
- Play Book activity such as votes on curated tactics.
- StoreKit transaction and entitlement information needed to verify PlayBoard Premium access.
- Advertising and device data processed by Google Mobile Ads for Free-tier ad serving, such as advertising identifiers when available, IP address, device and app information, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from network information.

HOW WE USE DATA

We use this data for account sign-in, cloud backup and restore, Play Book features, Premium entitlement verification, support, security, service reliability, and Free-tier advertising.

TRACKING AND ADVERTISING

Free-tier PlayBoard Hoops uses Google Mobile Ads to show banner ads. Where required, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising privacy choices before requesting ads. Google may use advertising identifiers and related device or ad interaction data according to your consent choices, Google settings, and applicable law. Premium removes the in-app ad area.

PlayBoard Hoops does not collect contacts, photos, videos, browsing history, or search history. The app does not use precise device location for PlayBoard features.

DATA SHARING

PlayBoard Hoops uses Supabase backend services for authentication and cloud features, Apple StoreKit for purchases, and Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform for advertising and advertising privacy choices. We do not sell personal data or share it with data brokers.

ACCOUNT DELETION AND RETENTION

You can start PlayBoard account deletion inside the app from PlayBoard Account settings. Deletion removes PlayBoard cloud saved plays, Play Book votes and PlayBoard-owned content, PlayBoard Premium entitlement rows owned by PlayBoard, and the PlayBoard profile. If the same sign-in account also owns Coach or Player data, the shared sign-in account is kept for those other roles; otherwise the sign-in account is soft-deleted after PlayBoard cleanup succeeds.

Local saved plays on your device remain under your control and can be deleted from the app or by removing the app. Backend records needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or transaction verification may be retained where required.
